    Unanswered: DoCmd.transfertext question

I am modifying a current program that uses docmd.transfertext to build a file. As it currently is set up the file uses no separators and I want to change it to commas between each data field.
    The code used now is

strSpecification = "OHCI - Text Specification"
    DoCmd.TransferText acExportFixed, strSpecification, _
    "qryOHCI_24_CREATE_FILE", strName, False

What is funny is that I can find no reference to the strspecification given above in the database code that would actually have any specifications. Is this just a dummy entry or is that info stored somewhere else?.
As I said I want to change this to give a comma separated format.
How would I make a specification file to do this?
    Thanks

    Try this:

strSpecification = "OHCI - Text Specification"
    DoCmd.TransferText acExportDelim, strSpecification, _
    "qryOHCI_24_CREATE_FILE", strName, False

That does the trick for sure but leaves me wondering what the strspecification is used for and how would I use it. can you give me a short
    explanation or example of that?
    Thanks!!
