Unanswered: VB app getting Access reports for SQL Server

We are building a VB application that has a SQL Server backend. What is the best way to get MS Access or MS Excel reports from SQL Server? Are there any good resources (books, etc) that would explain this?

    Thanks,
    Steve

Even though I don't recommend it, you can use Access as front end for your SQL Server (just like your VB application). You would need to create some Views/Stored procedures and use Access Reports to preview/print results.

If you have VB.Net I suggest you use Crystal Reports (already integrated with .Net) rather than going many steps backwards with using Access. That's just my opinion.

Would I be able to just import an Access Object Library and be able to use the reports from that or is that not possible?
