    Smile Unanswered: Editing a record through the Asp

    Dear friends,

    I want to bring the record in to form from database,and edit the record there .
    I could bring the record from database to form by opening recordset as assigning value like

    textbox.value=<%=recordset("fieldname")%>.

    But after changing the record in form ,how i can update the form.Please help me in this problem.

    Either post to another page which takes that form value, and execute an UPDATE SQL statement, or post to another page which takes that form value, opens a non-static recordset and use ADO's Update method.

    Or even better yet, if Stored Procedures are an option, create a SP that will do the update.
    That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
