    Unanswered: Very Basic...Sorry.

    Anyone have any suggestion about how to populate a combobox based on a selection in another combobox?

    you have to use combobox additem method. the actual operation is depend on your comboboxes. for example to add "FLORIDA" to a combobox:

    Code:
    YourCombox.AddItem Item:= "FLORIDA"
    and actual code might change depending how mony colums your comboboxes have. this example was for 1 column. you can find some more info in access help file; AddItem Method.

    Still confused...

    ...still having problems...not sure why.

    Here is an example.

    Private Sub cmbIssueType_AfterUpdate()

    If cmbIssueType = "Scope" Then
    Call ScopeFill
    End If

    End Sub

    Sub ScopeFill()

    With Form_frmOne.cmbIdentifier
    'based on the "Scope" selection in the cmbIssueType combobox,
    'I need the cmbIdentifier combobox to show items such as "Steve"
    '"Bill", "John"

    End With

    End Sub
