    Unanswered: extra whitespace

When I convert my Access report to Word (.rtf) the page footer shows up on the page with still quite a bit of whitespace on the bottom. I tried eliminating it by reducing my bottom margin on the report but to no avail. Is there vb code out there I can use in the "On Print" command for the page footer to lower it on the page? When I preview the report it looks fine. I just notice this after conversion.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.

Footer/Page margins are controlled by the printer driver and the report's Page setup in Access. If you are using inkjet printers, the drivers force some very odd settings which I found difficult to overwrite. The next solution in VBA is to write your own printer driver (an API call) For this, peruse VB Help in Access for PrtDevMode etc.

    Thanks

I am using a laser printer but I will search more on generating vb code for this.

    Thanks!
