Unanswered: SQL Server no username pwd

Hi. I am trying to connect to SQL Server and I am being told that it is running locally and I don't need to access this with a username or password, but when I run my ASP.NET scripts I get an error needing me to connect. Any thoughts on this?

    Thanks

Surely you'd have to use some sort of authenication. At the least user=sa password=""

What makes you think you shouldn't have to supply a user name and password?

You could be using a trusted connection, but that would be working on your login not the login that is used by ASP.Net.

Connecting as sa is about the worst idea EVER...

Again, post your script, and post the error.

"I get an error needing me to connect" is quite useless...it could be a number of things from you forgetting to connect at all etc....

Hey, don't get me wrong, I totally agree about sa, just trying to understand where he is going with this whole thing.
