    Unanswered: Newbie Q with SQL

i am pretty much a total beginner with SQL, and i was wondering if there were any downloadable SQL tutorials out there that could allow me to learn the language.

This has come to to inheriting a server from the IT department, and i feel i should learn SQL to basically not make an @ss of myself and mess things up big style.
