    Can anyone reccomend a good book on Stored Procedures, for beginners or intermediates???

    Oh, I get it! You actually wanted me to make a recommendation instead of just wondering if I could make one!

    Ok, ok... I'll behave!

    If you like the O'Reily style, I reccomend Transact-SQL Programming with CDROM. Another very nice choice is The Guru's Guide to Transact-SQL. Although I didn't care much for it, I respect people that have recommended Professional SQL Server 2000 Programming.

    Going insane is a good thing in this context. Once you leave the last vestigages of sanity behind, then you can start to pursue SQL seriously. It also makes it SO much easier to cope with users once you've abandoned that sanity stuff, it just keeps getting in the way!
