    Unanswered: month increment

    Hi, appreciate the help

I have a date field that i pass in as a parameter, I want to be able to display
on the report the parameter date, date + 1 month, date + 2 months etc...

for example parameter date 08/10/2004 then

    08/10/2004 09/10/2004 etc...

I would just add 30 days, but not all the months are 30 days, is there a function that I can use? and how?

    Thanks

I'm having a similar difficulty. I'm incrementing by 30 days in a WHILE loop, but I need to increment by one month.

    Any ideas?

I think you use the format month({TABLE.DATEFIELD}+1 to increment the month, although some months/dates won't work for this (1/30/2004,2/30/2004) does not give a valid date. I found this link helpful: http://www.kenhamady.com/form05.html

    try using this formula..
    DateAdd ('m',1 ,{date_value} )

m stands for the type of Invertal, which is month
1- for how many months to be added

if in case the date is 1/30/2004, it will generate a sequence of 2/29/2004,3/30/2004,4/30/2004 and so on..

if date is 1/31/2004, the sequence is 2/29/2004,3/31/2004,4/30/2004,5/31/2004 and so on.

    hope this help!!
