Unanswered: How to Change Unique ID to Corresponding Name

I run a "GetUser API function" to retrieve the current user, and in this case all Usernames are Company UserIDs. Maybe I'm just having a brain-fart, but for the life of me, I can't figure how to put the user's actual name in a query field using the UserID returned by the GetUser function & a table of user's names and UserIDs. All help is appreciated on this one. Thanks.

    Stace.
Thanks in advance or hope this helps.

You will have to make a table with all employee actual names and their lan ID name then key the query off that table.

You could run a parameter query that uses the lanid in the table as the key field and the lanid you have as the parameter with a one to one relationship.
Or you could do it in sql in code in a form. I'm new to programming so I won't venture to try to write that on the fly but I'm sure that is how you would go about it.
