    Unanswered: Continuous to Single view

Does anyone know how to programmatically change a form from continuous to single form view while the form is running? I will need to be able to switch it back as well. Otherwise, I will have to create a separate form. I am doing this because filter by form is not available in runtime mode, so I am trying to program it myself.

Check the DefaultView property of the form ... You'll have to refresh after the change ...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

I tried me.defaultview = 0 to set it to single form view, but I get an error saying that it can only be done in design view:

Run-time error '2136': To set this property, open the form or report in Design view.

    Any other ideas?

The only idea that I have is to have 2 forms named the same (title wise) that toggle each other visible/hidden as you desire ... One being a single form and the other continuous ...
