    Using the Acce$$ Developer Edition 2000, how to get a stand alone .exe file?

    You cannot get a standalone exe. You can make an mde file though. If you must have an exe, then you will have to switch to another language like VB6 or VB.Net.

    ...but Dev2k allows you to package and distribute the runtime engine so users don't need Access installed to run your .mde
