    You can raise an error that could be captured by your form, but you can't issue a dialog box from a database trigger.

    You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

    PHP Code:
    topicadm@Topic_DevCREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER temp_trg
      2      after UPDATE ON temp_a
      3
    FOR EACH ROW
      4
    DECLARE

    5  BEGIN
      6
      7   dbms_output
    .put_line ('Row Updated!!!!  YEAH Boyyyy!!!');

    8
      9  END
    ;

    10  /

    Trigger created.

    topicadm@Topic_Devupdate temp_a set a 2 where a '2';
    Row Updated!!!!  YEAH Boyyyy!!!

    1 row updated
