    Unanswered: Global search and replace

    Heya,

I've got two databases that I need to change a reference to a location (I:\CONTRACTS\ADJDB.MDB) to a UNC name (\\SERVER1\SYS1\SHARED\CONTRACTS\ADJDB.MDB).

I will need to make this change in macros, forms and whatnot. The person who developed it did not anticipate ITG would change our network drives around! So I get the cleanup.

Is there any global replacement that I can use to attack all these items at once instead of opening each one up?

    Thanks,

    mk

Just open up a window on the code-(dbl click on any module or do a view/code on any form ) and do a find and replace(ctl_F) for the whole database. That will take care of the code. Then check the tables for any fields with paths in them.
You may have to relink to any tables in the remote DB too.
