    Unanswered: script

    i have a 9i db
    i want to make a sql script 4 it
    in other words a script 4 all the tables and views.....the db contains

    What is stopping you from doing this?
    If I understand your issue, then you should be able to use DBMS_METADATA to generate the desired SQL.
    I suspect that using DBMS_METADATA will require you to RTFM which you seem incapable or unwilling to do.

    plz just be patient....

    i mean the tables and all other objects in my db
    i want to know if oracle can generate for me a file containing the script
    for these tables views.....

    Yes, the SQL necessary to (re)create all the DB objects can be obtained using DBMS_METADATA.

    thansk but metadata works per one object
    how can i automate the job 4 all the db objects
    and what about the data in the tables?????

    If you want to backup/save the data, use RMAN or EXP utilities.

    Export will generate SQL to create all objects and load all the data.
