    Unanswered: EncodeUrl

Java and .NET have an EncodeUrl() method where you can pass it a value and it returns a string that is safe for parsing by the browser. Does Oracle have a similar function?

Oracle does have a package/function that will handle some rudimentary character conversions... use the HTF.ESCAPE_URL() function. Currently, from Oracle it will only support translation of the following characters:

You can, of course create your own function that will do much the same, but do all characters that require escape codes.

You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
