    Unanswered: seqtype=I

    In SYSCAT.SEQUENCES there are system generated identity sequnces, which I guess are sequences used internally by DB2 for implementing identity columns ...

    Does anyone know how to associate the table to the identity sequences they refer to ...

    It looks like the syscat.COLIDENTATTRIBUTES view is the link between table/column and SEQID.

    syscat.sequences is only for sequences not for identity

    The object syscat.sequences keep the sequences (similar to oracle sequences) and is nothing to do with identity.
    In Db2 we have both posibilities to generate ID-s:
    sequence or identity. IN sql server we only have identity and in Oracle only sequences. If you need identity information in system tables you can search in syscat.columns the column identity.
