Unanswered: avoiding new lines in textbox

I don't know how access handle the fact that in the textarea sometimes is possible to have new line (return) and sometimes is not. Probabily it has to do with the lenght of the field. Anyway... how can I say that I don't want this textbox to be able to contain text with new line (different paragraph)?

    Does someone knows?

Pull up the properties of the textbox in question and look at the "Enter Key Behavior" setting ... It should be "Default". Mind you this will not prevent someone from entering carriage returns in the textbox by hitting the <Ctrl> <Enter> keys ...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...
