Unanswered: Third party tool to Export data to access

Hi, I was wondering if there is any existing third party tool (preferebly free) that can export selected records from an Oracle database into microsoft access.
If this tool is a web app, its even better =)

    Thanx.

Is there a reason you are not using Access to import the records from Oracle?

Is there a way for MS Access import only selected records (via Query) from Oracle? From what I know, Access can only import whole tables.

    Thanx for the reply.

Sure. Create a link to link from Access to the Oracle table. Create a make table or append query in access, filter the query and allow it to make or append the Oracle records to Access. If you no longer need the linked table then delete the link.

You could also create a SQL Pass Through Query in Access to connect to Oracle and get the data. You could use that pass through query as a basis to populate the Access table.
