Question Unanswered: Migration of ASE 12.5 from Tru64 5.1 to Solaris 9

    Dear Gurus,
I am putting a proposal for our cutomer to migrate from Tru64 platform to Solaris platform due to Tru64 ongoing support problem. Any known issues? does any one have gone through similar migration path? What is your recommondation? . I am an Unix sysadmin, I have done Oracle migration before but not Sybase. I believe it's done with BCP.

    Thanks for any advise.

you can use bcp, but sybmigrate is perhaps quicker and easier... depending your ASE version (>=12.5.0.3)

Our Sybase is 12.5. According to Sybase Utility document only 12.5.0.1 or later is supported, so sybmigrate is out.
