    Unanswered: Scanned image on report.

I would like to have a button “Scan New Document” that opens the scan program and saves the scanned documents to the default scan document folder (C:\ScannedDocuments) and automatically add the link to the new image into the current record.

All documents will be scanned in as a letter size (8 ˝ x 11)

    Report:
The report will be a combination of a few sub tables. Each record on each table can have 1 scanned document (with multiple sheets).

I would like all scanned documents to be printed at the end of the report, each page as an 8 ˝ x 11.
The images should be included as part of the report. For an example, the “Page x of x” should include the scanned documents.

    Is this possible?

I made several searched on the web, but didn’t find any solution for my situation.
I didn’t give up my hope.

I appreciate any kind of help for any part of the question.

    Thanks
    Tom

    FYI
The image doesn’t need to be displayed on the forms, only on the reports.
I will scan only black & whit images. Does this make a difference?
I’m will to change the entire report, if makes it easer.

What is the best file format to save it to?

    Thanks again

    Hi everyone,

Since I didn’t receive any reply,

Let’s start without automation, I’ll manually scan and save the documents.
I’ll also manually add the image link to image field on the form.

    Thanks again
