    Unanswered: Connot Open SQ Server

    Hi All,

    Could you help me.

    I designe report on Crystal Report 8, and connect to SQL Server 2000 by ODBC with user "sa" and password "sa". I use view to show data in report. When I call report from Application that built bay Visual Basic 6. Have error raise "Connot Open SQL Server".

    Hi sonvn,

    Have you set up an ODBC system DSN on the machine you are running the report on?

    Can you post your VB code as this might be helpful?

    Hi nomis,

    Thanks for your mail. I had set up ODBC on my computer and connected to Database. I design report and connect to table is not raise error. but, when connect to view. it have error.

    Hi Son,

    What happens if you try a different login name and password in your connection string instead of sa?

    Make sure you have not saved the data with your crystal report.

    How are you connecting to the database?
