    Exclamation Unanswered: Can't locate Sybase/

    As I had some problems with indigoperl to load the Sybase module, I removed it and installed activeperl instead of it.

    I have Sybase 12.5 in C:\sybase and client Sybase in C:\sybase_client.

    I ran the command ppm and retrieve the sybperl module.

    ppm> install sybperl
    Install 'sybperl' version 2.16 in ActivePerl
    Download 45 bytes.
    Successfully installed sybperl version 2.16 in ActivePerl

    When I tried to turn this script:
    #! perl

    # Load the Sybase::CTlib module:
    use Sybase::CTlib;

    # Allocate a new Database 'handle':
    $dbh = new Sybase::CTlib 'willer', 'moloch98', 'WILLERFAMILY';

    # Send the query to th server:
    $dbh->ct_execute("select uid, name from sysusers");

    # Retrieve the result sets
    while($dbh->ct_results($restype) == CS_SUCCEED) {

    # Skip non-fetchable results:
    next unless $dbh->ct_fetchable($restype);

    # Retrieve actual data rows:
    while(($uid, $name) = $dbh->ct_fetch) {
    print "$uid - $name\n";

    I received the following error:

    Can't locate Sybase/ in @INC (@INC contains: C:/Perl/lib C:/Perl/site/lib.) at line 6.
    BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at line 6.

    And I have the same problem with the "use Sybase:Blib;".

    I search in my C: disk where are the and couldn't find anything.

    What is the problem? Did I forget to do something for the installation? I can connect my Sybase database without problem. Do I to initialize a environment variable?

    I am new in Perl and would like to improve my knowledge with the access to the database, some help would be greatly appreciated.

    I just saw that my SybPerl module wasn't installed. With the command "query *" I didn't find any trace of SybPerl.... Do I to do something else after the command <install>?
