    Unanswered: Leading spaces in field

    I'm looking for de SQL function witch let me fill a field with spaces upto say 20 characters when i have a fieldvalue with a length of 5.

    You may have better luck doing this at the interface level then SQL. Try using a display mask.

    Oh, and keep in mind that you'll need to use a text datatype. Numeric datatypes cannot have leading zeros.
    oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
