    Unanswered: List Boxes

Hi, I am using a list box on a form (unbound) to view a summary of items from a particular table. The items in the table can either be InStock or Outofstock. I am currently viewing all items in the list box but would like to shade the row in a different colour where th item is outofstock so the user can easily see that the item is out of stock.

Is there a way of achieving this?

    Thanks

Sadly no, not really. The background properties for a listbox effect the entire background, there isn't a good way to set properties for JUST one row.

An alternative would be a small subform.
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.

    Hi

You could add a column to the list box indicating what is in stock !?

Yea I would go with MikeTheBike's suggestion.

Make another column that says In or Out.

    Thanks

Already done that, but the overall list is sorted by another column so the list of In's and out's are interspersed throughout the list box. I just wondered if there was a way of visibly highlighting the whole row in a different coulour. Obviously not. Prehaps in a new version ???
