Question Unanswered: Between Date()-30 And Date()-59

Why won't this work as a criteria expression in a query to calculate dates between 30 and 59 days older than today?

    Query

    Crosstab looks like this:

    RowHeading: Classification Sort ASC
Column Heading: 30-59 Days Overdue: DueDate Where DueDate=Between Date()-30 And Date()-59
Column Heading: 60-89 Days Overdue: DueDate Where DueDate=Between Date()-60 And Date()-89
    Value: Count(ReferenceID)
