    Unanswered: update query

I have a table of telephone numbers in microsoft access 2002, with the following pattern xxx-xxx-xxxx. I would like to do an update query on this database to remove the hyphens so that I can send these numbers to my Verizon cell phone which doesn't have hyphens xxxxxxxxxx. I don't know how to do this programming.

    Thank you.

In your update query, set it to update to
    Code:
    Left$([Table1]![Phone],3) & Mid$([Table1]![Phone],5,3) & Right$([Table1]![Phone],4)
    that'll change 123-456-7890 to 1234567890

good luck. of course, you'll have to substitute your table/field names in the query above

    Verizon Phone number exchange

Verizon has a small database program named quuicklink Mobile Phonebook. I purchased a cord that connects to my USB port and the phone. with this cord I can access the internet using the phone as a modem (verizon wireless mobile office), and I can upload and download the phone numbers in the phone.
