    Unanswered: Statement heap size

    UDB V 8.1 on AIX

The max. length of SQL supported by DB2 is 64K.

Does that mean that the statement heap size max. should be 64K ?
Or can this be increased and it may be used by DB2 ?

what it means is the max value that can be set to the stmtheap is 64k...
a value less than 64k can be set and DB2 will take whatever value is set to the stmtheap... but remember it won't allow u to set more than 64k....
