Unanswered: How to tell if it is Event Procedure or not ??

When my program is given a procedure name, I want it to be able to tell whether it is an EVENT PROCEDURE, with the LEAST amount of code possible.

Does anybody know how to do this ??

    Thanks.

What do you mean by "given a procedure name"? are you wanting to type a proc name in a text field and get information or something? usu Event Procedures are in the class module of a form and trigger when you click a button or take action on a form object.

Application.Caller is available in Excel VB and can be used to return information on how a Procedure was called, but this property is NOT available in Access VB.

If you explain what are you trying to do, it will be easier for someone to give you a specific answer or suggest something.

"When my program is given a procedure name" means exactly as the words convey --> when a procedure name is passed to my program.

    For example,

    call Process_Procedure_Name ("Invoice_OnClick") or
    call get_Control_Name ("Button1_OnEnter").
