Unanswered: Connection to Password protect db starts to fail.

I have a weird problem and was wondering if this has happened to anyone and/or if you know how to resolve the issue.
I connect from a module to a user-level security protected database. I have created an Read-Only account for the connection to use and this has been working fine for some time. Now I suddenly run the database and it says that "You don't have the necessary permissions to use .....object. Get your admin or person who created this object to establish the appropriate permissions." So just to test I gave the connection account Admin privleges and it worked. Why is this? How can I make the connection work with read-only privleges again?

Is there a reason you're not simply creating the file with an admin account and using windows security to control access privelages?
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
