    Unanswered: Creating a parameter field

    Hello:

I created a parameter field for my crystal report. This parameter field is for
selecting country. I can select more than one contry by clicking Add button. However, there are a lot of countries in my database. Is there any way I can select all countries at one time?

    Thanks

Yap! Try using the range values for your parameter. In crystal report click on the radio botton for range values and click on the "Set defaults values" then point where your table and field is.

    Fuhl,

From Edit Parameter Field, click on Set Default values. Select the table and field. Select all the available options. Then add "All" and place it at the top of the list.

Save all this and go into Select Expert. Input a formula such as:

    if {table.field} = "All"
    then "*"
    else {table.field} = ?parameter

Something along those lines...that should do the trick.

I think I found this on the B.O. website, but I can't seem to find the article #.
