But i never have used Subforms. or not sure if thats what i need to achieve that. also my refresh button looks to be useless.... well here is the Stunning Database.

any thoughts would be appreciated. and when i get a raise (should be Due anytime now ill think of something to repay you for your time and input. maybe a credit on a splash screen

Why don't you set the filter on the report you are emailing to something like...

    [INVOICE] = Forms![RUNFORM]![Text60]

and set filter on to Yes.

    Hi Jessy,

Try creating a function like this that came right from my own database and along with using Outlook 2000 set as MAPI
    Code:
    Option Compare Database

    '------------------------------------------------------------
    ' Send_Report_SendStandardRpt
    '
    '------------------------------------------------------------
    Function Send_Report_SendStandardRpt()
    On Error GoTo Send_Report_SendStandardRpt_Err

' Function to send a report via Email
        DoCmd.SendObject acReport, "YourReportName", "SnapshotFormat
(*.snp)", "Jessy, Bud","", "Daily Production Report UPDATE", "Updated Production Report", True, ""

    Send_Report_SendStandardRpt_Exit:
        Exit Function

    Send_Report_SendStandardRpt_Err:
        MsgBox Error$
        Resume Send_Report_SendStandardRpt_Exit

    End Function
Also can be done from a macro with it activated on the OnClick event. Or, since you have the report just simply go to the report and go to File, then SendToRecipient as Attachment. That way you can send just that one at that moment. Otherwise in a Macro:
    Action - SendObject
    ObjType - Report
    ObjName - YourReportName
    OutputFormat - Snapshot Format
    To - 'Optional'
    Cc - 'Optional'
    Bcc - 'Optional'
Subject - If you have something you want in the Subject line of your email
MessageText - If you have something you want in the body of your email
EditMessage - Yes/No - If you want the Email to hit you for a message before it sends it.
That's about it for now for all that I have knowledge of. Hope this helps.

    have a good one,
    Bud

    Lightbulb Re EMailing Report

    Jessy,

Have a look at the attachment, (Access 2000) it will give you examples for Printing Current Record, E-Mail Report (Current Record) , etc.

I hope this is a help to you. It is very basic but it works fine. The e-mail will work with either Outlook Express or Outlook (which ever is chosen in Internet Options /E-Mail program.
    Regards,
