Unanswered: Setting Application Icon at Runtime

    Hi,

Is there any way to programmatically set the Application/form icon at runtime. I know you can set it through the startup... options, but the icon setting requires a full path and I'm deploying this on other workstations where that path is not appropriate.

I've also seen that you can tweak the registry to change icon for the Access as a whole (not really desirable in this case).

Any help will be most appreciated.

    Thanks.

You can use API calls to the shell32 and user32 DLL's, but the parameters still require a full path.

What is it about the file path that is not consistent between the workstations? Is it a mapped drive? Is it a path to an App installed in different directories on different machines? More details, please.

    This statement should work:
    Code:
    CurrentDb.Properties("AppIcon") = Application.CurrentProject.Path & "\app.ico"
