Unanswered: droping tables in a dbspace

    Hello,

I have created a dbspace as a temporary storage for performing db reorganization using "Tables in Dbspace by 'alter fragment..." method. Now for I can not drop the dbspace because it say it is not empty. How do I drop the tables in the dbspace (say 2000+ tables)?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi,

I think that can be a bug of Informix version.
Please run onchek -pe and look for all chunks of dbsapce.

Just a though: maybe you didn't get the tables back to the original dbspace? Have you checked with oncheck -pe?

Most likely there are tablespace tablespace entries and thats preventing you from dropping the dbspace. You can confirm this by running the oncheck and if this is true, the only way out is to have IBM dial-in and mark the headers and only then can you drop the dbspace.
