I am exporting lots of databases, some of them will export no problems while others get stuck as the below:

However, I am the DBA and I have full control on all the databases so I can kill any user logged into a schema. However, doing this I still can get to export the schema? any ideas?

    Export file: EXPDAT.DMP > ccfcrefadmin

    (1)E(ntire database), (2)U(sers), or (3)T(ables): (2)U >

    Export grants (yes/no): yes >

Export table data (yes/no): yes >

    Compress extents (yes/no): yes > n

Export done in WE8ISO8859P1 character set and WE8ISO8859P1 NCHAR character set

About to export specified users ...
User to be exported: (RETURN to quit) >

NOthing happens after this point and it just fails....

    Thanks

    Why?
    Quantify "lots", please.

What different between the ones that work & those that don't?
You can lead some folks to knowledge, but you can not make them think.
The average person thinks he's above average!
For most folks, they don't know, what they don't know.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

Of course nothing happens. You specified a user export and then never specified a user.

please read the docs regarding parameter files for exporting.
there is really no reason for you to be using the step-by-step export
    process.
