Unanswered: How to display the & character on a form

How can I display the & character on an access 2000 form??
I want to display the words THOMPSON & CO LTD but when I run the form it displays THOMPSON_CO LTD. I know that the & character is used for keyboard shortcuts but in this instance I actually want to display it on screen!

    Can anyone help?

Escape it ... (in this case just double it : &&) ...
Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...

You can use also the Chr$() function as
    Chr$(38)
