    Unanswered: Data from db to www

    What is the easiest way to present data from Oracle9i DB to WWW using JSP or Java servlets (how to establish connection to db and get data from it)?

    regards

    For many the easiest way is to get out the checkbook & hire somebody who knows what they are doing WRT making the middle tier operational.
    Here is a free clue, the middle tier is what is between the browser client (WWW) and the database.
    The middle tier has two major components; a webserver (typically Apache) & an application server (i.e Oracle 9iAS or 10gAS, Tomcat, etc.)
    I conclude that unless you are willing to spend many months learning all about these utilities; your chances of success are close to zero.
    Alternatively you could write a CGI-type interface using Perl or PHP.
    In any case if you plan to roll your own, be prepared to RTFM.

    Java and PL/SQL

    I now I can use Java and JDBC to do this.
    But I hope there is something like Java code within PL/SQL code.

    There is.
    You can load and run Java code within the Oracle database (engine).

    You don't know, what you don't know.

    Browser <-->Webserver<-->ApplicationServer<-->Database
