Unhappy Unanswered: How to change dollar sign in tables of database to pound sign!

    Hi there

I need pound sign to show instead of the (default) dollar sign that currently shows up in my calculated fileds.

    Format Property

You can use the Format property to customize the way numbers, dates, times, and text are displayed and printed. Read/write String.

    Try:

    #,##0.00;-#,##0.00

Place it into the Format property of your displaying TextBox (on form or report).

I never store values as currency because it gives a littler more flexibility. You are better off to designate a currency to each transaction if you are using multi-currency.
