Let me start by saying I am very new to access and have struggled through creating my database.
I am at the stage now where I have customer contracts and I want to, on opening the contract, send it to their email address or if we don't have that on file send it to the fax machine and print a copy.
IF anyone could tell me how to do this (please remember I'm a newbie so I may need it spelt out to me.
first you should create a report based on your needs(shows the customer contract), then you can send this report with email using SendObject action. to fax something you need proper fax printer driver installed in your machine and you can use PrintOut action.
there are plenty of examples of those kind of implemetations in this forum do a search for printout and sendobject. You can also find info about those actions in Access' help.
