this sounds like on your database maintenance plan you have told it to attempt to repair minor errors on index rebuilds or database optimization...this is a SQL bug - it can't fix the problems it encounters because it's unable to put the db in Single User mode. The work around is to not fix errors - just review your logs periodically, if you find any errors, run the process manually, and place the db in Single User Mode on your own. Hope that helps!

    Nick,
you're right...inside the maintenance plan i did not choose inside the INTEGRITY tab the option 'attemp to repair minor problems'. When errors come dbcc options in combination with 'single user' mode will work. Thanks.
