Hi

I am in the process of converting old proprietary software written in embedded SQL to a stored procedure.

I am getting an error for the statements below:

and symbol = {sqlexpr(blotterside.7.symbol)}
and bscode = {sqlexpr(blotterside.7.true_bscode)}

The query is:

insert #temp_accspec_exec
Select id,
shares = sum(shares)
from abc
group by id

Select xtgx = trade_group + x,
executed = convert (int, sum (A.shares - isnull(B.shares, 0.)))
from tms A,
cross,
#temp_accspec_exec B
where cross = yn
and A.execution_id *= B.execution_id
and A.trade_group != 'OOH'
and symbol = {sqlexpr(blotterside.7.symbol)}
and bscode = {sqlexpr(blotterside.7.true_bscode)}
group by trade_group+x

Drop table #temp_accspec_exec

What can I use in Sybase in place of the two statements using unrecognized function sqlexpr?

Thanks in advance!
