Unanswered: Kicking users from the DB

I just started a new gig, and the existing access DB doesnt use permission or a front end. When I need to make changes I have the get the users out of the DB.
My problem is doing changes/maintenence, or lack of, when then forget to log out at the end of the day.

Is there an easy way to kick them out of the DB so I have exclusive rights to do my work?

    Hi HomersDonut,

Check out this site. They have a program that will send users a message to log off and then gives you the power to boot them off if need be.

    hope this helps you
    have a nice one,

But, do yourself a favor and split database into Front End/Back End or you'll wish you had when the database is corrupted.

    Been There.
