Unanswered: Database terminates - Not Just the intended form!!!

A very wierd thing is happening in my access code.
I am closing a form with the following piece of code:

    DoCmd.CLOSE acForm, "frmName"

But instead of the form frmName, the whole database is getting closed.
I tried putting break points to see how that is happening...but I didnt find any explanation....whats happening is after the above code is run, it goes to the form close event handler and then the whole database closes.

    Any help?
    Thanks

It worked for a bit...but back to square 1.

I tried both. For a minute, I thought it worked !!! when it did not close the database the first two times...but then it started behaving the old way again....
The form is behaving very unpredictably....

I think when that happens the only thing to do is rebuild the form, delete the old one. they can sometimes become corrupted beyond repair.

Aprt from that ther's the good old standby of blank database and import everything from the old one into it. That sometimes corrects wierd errors.
