    Hello,

    how can I find out if a table contains no records? What are the possibilities?

    Using a RecordSet, you can ask for the RecordCount property of the Recordset

    But not with ADO ... Unless you use a Clientside CursorLocation ...

    Another way is to try a count on the table ... SELECT COUNT(*) FROM SomeTable;
    Back to Access ... ADO is not the way to go for speed ...
