    Unanswered: Security

I have a client that has a database that can only be opened with a shortcut. When I look at the shortcut it is opeing the database using the /wrkgrp swith and is specifying a workgroup. When it comes to workgroups and security my skills are weak. Can anyone tell me how I can access the database directly? When I double click the database it tells me I don't have permission. All I want to do is to link to a table in the database. Any thought?

you should use that shortcut and connect as admin or as an user who has rights to create tables. otherwise you are out of luck. it seems database is secured in user-level security.

or if there is a tool to break in workgroup security of access, you might want to use it. but I never heard something like that.
