    Unanswered: Printing Report

I have a report generated from a command button on a form.

I have the report set to popup to make sure it stays on top.
(If not users tend to select print from the File menu and end up printing the Form)

Because the underlying form is also popup and modal when the user selects file-print it prints the form.

I tried setting the report modal to true. But then you cant print from the File menu.

I am resolved by trying to have a message box popup when the report is closed to ask to print. If the user selects yes then I want the print dialog box to popup - not just automatically print.

    Issue resolved:
    on the close procedure code:
    DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdPrint

    Use the grouping tool

The report design has a grouping button
add the group on your record key on name

Create a group header and force new page before section.
