DB2 UDB V8.1.2 Windows
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are loading a table with a text file, here are some sample rows:

"11000"
"21000"
"99999"
"00000"
"10000"
"11100"
"11310"

When we load them we get the following errors:
SQL3114W Some data following ""11000"" in row "F0-1" and column "1" was not
loaded.

SQL3114W Some data following ""21000"" in row "F0-2" and column "1" was not
loaded.

SQL3114W Some data following ""99999"" in row "F0-3" and column "1" was not
loaded.

SQL3114W Some data following ""00000"" in row "F0-4" and column "1" was not
loaded.

SQL3114W Some data following ""10000"" in row "F0-5" and column "1" was not
loaded.

SQL3114W Some data following ""11100"" in row "F0-6" and column "1" was not
loaded.

SQL3114W Some data following ""11310"" in row "F0-7" and column "1" was not
loaded.

If we view the input file in a hex editor we see that there are carriage returns and line feeds.

If we delete the carriage returns the file loads no problem.

I would expect that the DB2 Loader would expect carriage returns from a text file created in Windows.

Is this not the case?
