    Unanswered: Calculating Working Days

    I have this query that calculate working days but eliminate Sat and Sun. When the query runs it subtracted two dates and if the end date is null it takes the current system date and substract it with the beginning date. Now the problem is: I want to subtract the holidays(US holidays) only. Any idea how to do this. Sample query below:

    Work Day: DateDiff("d",[Issued],NZ([Complete],Now()))-(DateDiff("ww",[Issued],NZ([Complete],Now()))*2)

    I am running the system in Access 97, with Windows XP.

    Thanks,

    ESM

    Well since holidays are celbrated (and counted differently all over the place) you'll need to make a "holiday" table with the exclusion dates and factor those out of your date range ...

    Yep. Good luck! It took me quite awhile to do the same thing ...
