Exclamation Unanswered: Moving average request in access XP

    Hi,

Could someone help me with the following, any tip is greatly appreciated:

I have a tabel and a query both contain the following (the query combines this with other information)

    customerID ArticleID Year Period Kilograms
    11200 120 2003 1 120
    11200 120 2003 2 0
    11200 120 2003 3 80
    .
    .
    11200 120 2003 13 220
    15000 120 2003 1 120
    15000 120 2003 2 120
    15000 120 2003 3 120

A combination of CustomerID, ArticleID, Year and Period is unique (Key)
I would like to add a 13 period (not months) running average to the query (or table) as an extra field! I use Access XP

Sofar no-one on the WWW with a understandable solution, are you the one?

    Thanks,

    Martijn

Is there some bizarre reason you can't derive the average from your current data using a query? You could use a subform to house the seperate query, or use a combination of DSUM() and DCOUNT() (check the access help files for details on how to use those functions).
oh yeah... documentation... I have heard of that.
