Equivalent to the mySQL function GROUP_CONCAT in Oracle 8i ?

    Hi all,

I would like to know if does exist a function in Oracle 8i which would be equivalent to the mySQL function GROUP_CONCAT.
This function aim would be to CONCAT in a Group by clause selection all possible values of a column in each group by combination.
If it doesn't exist, do you know a way to do this in SQL ?

    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Best regards

I believe this is possible, but I haven't tried it myself. See the following article:
Oracle.com Tip of the Week: Program Your Own Aggregate Functions

This is also possible in Oracle 9i:
Increase code reuse with Oracle user-defined aggregate functions

However, I still haven't found a way to make this work for CLOB type columns. Any suggestions are welcome.
